Sony PlayStation has appeared as the registered company for the URL playstationarc.com, fuelling rumours that its PS3 motion controller will be named "Arc".

Following reports last week from insiders close to the project and now the URL appearing, "Arc" looks set to be the name of the controller that we’ll be using for years to come.
Announced at last year’s E3 games conference "Arc" is Sony’s answer to Nintendo’s Wii and Xbox’s Project Natal. The controller works in a similar fashion to the Wii with a sensor atop your television detecting the position, distance, and movement of two handheld controllers.
We’ve had no word from Sony on an official launch date or indeed if it’s called Arc but whatever the name we’re expecting a big unveil at this years E3.
