An inventor has created a gadget that translates facial muscle movement into speech.The prototype on display at the CeBIT trade show uses an attractive array of nine electrodes that are stuck to a user’s face.
In a much slicker package, the NuroSky headset also offers an alternative to boring physical touch operation, by harnessing brainwaves to operate PCs, etc. Let’s just hope it’s better than speech-to-text was when it first launched.
