IGN reports today that independent developer Lima Sky has announced their popular app Doodle Jump has officially sold over three million copies on the App Store. Doodle Jump has actually be around for quite a while now but continues to sell well and with 1.6 millions units sold in 2010 it is the best selling app of the year. This is proof that independent developers creating apps and games for the App Store still have the ability to compete with big developers with big budgets. Here’s what President and Founder of Lima Sky, Igor Pusenjak had to say about the announcement,
