Most android phone has multi touch screens but since Android OS itself lacking multi touch gesture support you cannot have multi touch feature in your Android phone until Android OS is updated to support multi touch screens. However this doesn’t stop third party developers from developing addons & custom rom support multitouch and many other feature.
Recently launched Google Nexus on also falls in one of this category but xda developers have come up with Nexus One Addon which enables full multitouch functionality, including gestures like pinch-to-zoom in Nexus One’s native web browser.
In order to apply this addon you must have rooted Google Nexus One, follow below guide to get multi touch on Nexus one.
How to Get Multi-Touch on Google Nexus One
1. Root your Google Nexus One follow this guide for that.
2. Download required files using this link.
3. Now simply add these files by running the following commands:
adb shell stop
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/app/Browser.odex
adb push Browser.apk /system/app
adb push com.cyanogenmod.android.jar /system/framework
adb push com.cyanogenmod.android.xml /system/etc/permissions
adb shell reboot
We have done it, now open your browser and enjoy multi-touch gestures on your Nexus One.
