Firefox 3.6 browser update offers custom paint job

Mozilla has launched the next incarnation of Firefox, its fabulously popular web browser, with update 3.6 serving up a few changes that won't shatter your world, but still bring enough tweaks to make it a more smiley place.

 

Aesthetically the main refresh comes with the thousands of custom paint jobs, known as 'Personas', that you can apply to the browser, to give it a more personal touch. We're actually working on a T3-theme so stay tuned for that.

It also possesses the new language of the web, HTML5, which will allow you to stream videos on sites like YouTube without the need for an Adobe Flash plug-in.

 

Firefox 3.6 also checks on the status of your other plug-ins and forewarns you before they expire, which will lessen security risks. It's available to download now here
