Sony’s new HX series look a tad too top-end for your tastes? Then perhaps the new Sony Cyber-shot W520 compact might be better bet if all you want is a pocketable but decent shooter.
It comes with a more than ample 14.1 megapixels, 5x optical zoom for getting right up in your mates’ faces and a 25mm wide angle lens for panoramic shots.
You’ll find a 2.7-inch LCD round the back, while inside it rocks Sony’s ace sweep panorama function and comes with intelligent auto so your pics look great even if you’re not into tinkering around with the settings.
