Now, customizing for your Samsung Galaxy S on 2.2! This is a follow-up to my original Full Customization Guide, and is meant for those who want a quick way to get basic customizations out of their phone, or for those who are new to the customizing scene. This tutorial will show you how to: 1.) root your phone 2.) get into recovery mode 3.) get into download mode 4.) flash the JPC 2.2 beta firmware & tars using Odin (the tricky part) 5.) get your phone connected to your PC (few tips) 6.) install a lagfix to boost the performance of your phone 7.) the firmware & rom will have also fixed the headphone quality & battery percentage “guessing” nuance (it’ll also give you a nice custom battery w/ percentage shown).
