The latest figures represent a huge 150 per cent increase on 2009.
The mobile phone browser has been rising at an exponential rate – it took it 28 months from January 2006 to April 2008 to reach 10 million users. The last 10 million took just three months from November 2009 to last month.

Opera CEO Lars Boilesen said: "Our original goal with Opera Mini was to make the Web available to everyone, regardless of their network or mobile phone. Fifty million active monthly users is a great start.”
The Norwegian firm are hoping that Apple will allow the iPhone version of Mini into the App Store after its shown off at the MWC in Barcelona next week.
