Nokia X6 16GB music phone available online tomorrow

Nokia today announced its latest Comes with Music handset, the 16GB Nokia X6. Joining it's memory laden X6 32GB counterpart and the slightly lower specced X3, the 16GB touting mobile looks to be in good company.

The handset will be available to pre-order online at 9am tomorrow and will set you back a handsome £299 SIM-free. Alternatively, you can wait until the 24th of February and bag it from all major UK operators on tariffs starting from £25 per month.

The X6 offers 35 hours music playback time and enough storage to save all your favourite tunes. Nokia will even chuck in 25 tracks from the Nokia Music Store gratis.

The X6 isn't just for playing chunes too loudly on the bus to the annoyance of businessmen either - there's a 5.0-megapixel camera with dual LED flash round the back, accompanied by on-the-go video editing facilities and support for TV-out playback.

It looks good, too, with a 16:9 ratio 'proper' widescreen 3.2" touchscreen and room for up to 20 app shortcuts on the front menu - giving you instant access to Facebook, YouTube and all the rest of our favourite time-wasters.

Essentially, the X6 is a proper smartphone, also fitting in A-GPS satnav with voice-guiding options, integrated maps, the full range of Ovi services, support for Flash and full web browsing. It's available to order from tomorrow.
