iPad Clone – aPad Demonstration Part 2 – Upgrading Firmware

This is Part 2 of my aPad videos. This one focuses on upgrading the firmware to improve usability and overall system responsiveness. RockChip CPU aPad 7″ www.amazon.com Personal suggestion: Amazon’s Kindle Fire – 7″ multitouch tablet! www.amazon.com Here’s the Playlist for all of my aPad videos: www.youtube.com Requirements: Will only work with aPad Batch 2. Batch 2 has the webcam, Batch 1 doesn’t. Do not use for Batch 1. Windows OS, must be 32bit version. I used Windows XP. Charge aPad beforehand. Backup files, this will delete your aPad’s files. Download the flasher and image files: www.gamertechy.com Follow video instructions. Suggested readings: www.slatedroid.com Do this firmware update at your own risk. As with all custom firmware updates, there is a chance of “bricking” or damaging the system. Important note for this firmware, when the device sleeps and it wont wake up with the pressing of Home key, hold the Home key and press the power on button.
