My second account is IMAP.
On outlook express in xppro, a line went through the message header when I
pressed delete in the imap account and then I hit purge to delete them
manually.

I need to know how to set up windows mail on vista to work in that fashion.
Right now the email in the pop5 and imap are instantly deleted. The deleted
emails from the pop5 account go into the deleted folder, while the IMAP
deleted emails disappear. (occasionally I delete an email by mistake and I
like the chance to review before totally deleting)
The option for sending deleted emails to the deleted folder for IMAP is
checked. Seems to work the same either way.
