Google has already created a lot of buzz with the recent launch Google Buzz. It looks as if Google wants no stone unturned for it. Be it the social networking or anything for that matter. The latest is that Google is now authorised to sell energy just like your electricity provider.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has issued an order granting google the right to buy and sell electricity in bulk. And they are doing this to make sure that heir data centres are powered up stable. Google Energy is the new subsidiary of Google Inc that manages the energy acquisition and distribution. Yeah it is definitely a different step from Google.
But it is true that one day will come when you can pay off your electricity bills to Google Energy through your adSense account. Well, a simple Search started it all!
