The new dictionary has usual kind of light interface that you expect from any Google product, and comes with a quite breadth of languages, and supports cross language lookups. The Google Dictionary comes with a list of 28 languages, and allows for inter-language lookups between English and any other language, while a few such as Chinese, Russian, German etc have their own.
Not entirely unexpected, but it might have been entierly unnoticed. The new Google is dictionary accessible simply by visiting http://www.google.com/dictionary and supports a wide nuber of languages.
