Do you use a lot Google Apps ? Do you constantly go visit the same website throughout the day ? Well if you are like me, having few tabs that’s always open, things like Gmail, Google Reader, Twitter you can now minimize the tab space just like what you see in Google Chrome OS.
Though, it’s not exactly like the Chrome OS, but this adds-on saves you some extra space for the tabs that you use constantly.
Just go to mozilla add-on search for App Tab
Make sure you check "Let me install this experimental add-on" and click "Add to Firefox"
After you restart you Firefox, you should see the App Tab option when you right click the tab. Click "App Tab" to make only showing the icon.
Now you can make all the tabs that you regularly go visit into an App Tab Icon, it will also automatically group the website that are in App Tab together. Save you some extra space for other additional tabs as well as make them distinguish from other none App Tabs websites.
To undo just simply uncheck the "App Tab" when you right click the tab. This tool also comes in handy with folks using netbooks.
Mozilla is also consider to add this feature in their future Firefox 4.0 release.
