Firefox 3.6 actually supports tab preview on taskbar in Windows 7. It’s just not enabled by default.

To enable,

1. Type about:config and press Enter in the address bar.

2. Type browser.taskbar in the Filter box, and double-click the browser.taskbar.previews.enable to enable the setting. Double-click it again to disable it.

3. Enjoy.

The change takes effect right away. Once it’s done, you will notice its icon change on the taskbar. It looks just like what IE shows, having the taskbar preview right built in.
