There exist countless diagnostic tools for our computer systems. They check our computer’s performance and if our machine is not up to the mark in some area, the diagnostic tool detects the error and tries to fix it.
There should be similar free applications for our cellphones. When we run these diagnostic applications, our cellphone malfunctions are detected and if possible, fixed.
Fortunately for all your Nokia cellphone users, Nokia has released an application that performs exactly the above mentioned functions. This application is appropriately titled Nokia Diagnostics.
This little tool can run quite a number of tests on your cellphone which include network coverage test, internet connectivity test, battery charger test, and loudspeaker/earpiece test.
These tools can be a great help in various tasks which usually involve changing our phone’s settings; for instance, when we move from one internet connection/service to the other, we need to configure our phone for the new network; Nokia Diagnostics can automatically identify the right internet settings and save us the trouble of manually adjusting our settings.
One feature that lacks is an antivirus test which would surely make this the perfect diagnostics application for Nokia cellphone users to have. But such improvements will surely be introduced by third-party developers now that they have gotten the diagnostics idea by Nokia Diagnostics.
The application currently works with all S60 5th Edition devices but support for 3rd Edition devices is expected to be added very soon.
