Apple moves apps preview to the web

Apple has introduced a web preview option for the App Store removing the need to open iTunes when you’re using your iPhone or iPod.

You can now peruse apps without loading up iTunes software on your mobile browser or any internet browser in fact.

Instead you will be redirected to a preview page. Here you have the option to preview within your browser or within iTunes.

Apple has already rolled out this feature for music within iTunes.

Last November it added the option to view artists and songs via a browser and not within the iTunes Store.

Insiders believe Apple is working towards a full roll-out of iTunes.com which will hopefully free users from the iTunes desktop software and add to iTune's wide-spread appeal.
