windows sus on clients
have a computer/server repair lab. Obviously, I have a requirement to run
updates on PCs/servers. Normally, this requires going to Microsoft’s Windows
Update website, but I’m tired of tieing up bandwidth and want to be able to
do my updates in-house. Using Automatic Updates with WSUS is not feasible,
because I need to be able to scan for, and install needed updates on demand.
I do not want to wait on AU to scan/download updates. More importantly,
though, I do not want to have to change AU settings on my clients’ computers.

So, what I want is to run updates exactly like going to the Windows Updates
website, but have the updates stored locally, on my WSUS server. Does WSUS
have this cabability? If so, how do I make it work?

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
