Speculation is rife that our favourite beardy billionnaire entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson is set to launch a Virgin iPad magazine called Project on Monday.
The iPad-only digital magazine will focus on business, culture, design, entertainment, travel, lifestyle and all of the other things that would-be Sir Richards like to read about. We just hope it’s not a iPad version of his in-flight magazine.
The mag, which is being spearheaded by Branson’s daughter Holly and former FHM Editor Anthony Noguera, will go head-to-head with Rupert Murdoch’s rumoured ‘The Daily’ publication, a daily digital newspaper, which the media mogal has supposedly spent $30 million on already.
Both apps will be competing for virtual shelf space with T3, which once again boasts the highest grossing iPad edition on the Apple app store. We’re ahead of Wired, GQ, Esquire, Vogue and Glamour.
