FIRSTLY UPDATE YOUR PS3 TO 3.55 OFFICIAL FIRMWARE FIRST FROM HEAR ON IN I WILL ASSUME YOU ARE ON 3.55 OFW. Make sure it is formatted to FAT32 if not the ps3 will not recognise it Download this Rebug 3.55.2 CUSTOM FIRMWARE in the link below rebug.me Place the file on your the USB stick in this way: USB: /PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP (DONT MAKE A FOLDER CALLED USB) Now turn on the ps3 into service mode: How to get access to service mode 1. Make sure the PS3 is turned off, 2. Press and hold the power button on the PS3 it will power on then power off. 3. When it’s off press and hold the power button again until you hear two consecutive beeps. 4. It will ask for the controller to be connected via the USB cable, 5. Turn on the controller and you will have access to the menu.
