Google has replaced it’s logo on it’s search home page by the Pac-Man game. This is in celebration of the Pac-Man game crossing 30 years since it’s inception. Pac-Man is truly a classic game. I grew up playing Pac-Man and many of its clones such as MS PAC.
Seeing the Pac-Man game on Google’s home page brought forth fond memories of playing this game during my younger days.
Even in these days, when graphics intensive realistic games rule the roost, the humble Pac-Man lives on.
Join the festivity by playing the Pac-Man game on Google’s search home page – just for today.
Interestingly, the whole game on Google’s homepage it seems, has been coded in Javascript.
If you are wondering, Linux does have a fantastic Pac-Man clone in NJam.
And then in KDE you have Kapman which is another pacman clone.
