Q. Does someone know where are the home screen settings stored? The solution for me is to manually reset only those settings to default values so that the home screen would back to normal. My phone is hacked and I have the latest v40 firmware.
A. delete 10275102.cre from c:\private\10202BE9\persists\ and restart
