The multiple-finger interaction feature which has so far eluded US Android mobile phone owners, looks set to be integrated into more Motorola handsets according to the company’s CEO.
In an interview with Laptop magazine, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha outlined plans to further embrace the multi-touch technology, "I think you will see us deliver multitouch in the majority of our devices going forward. There’s a complex set of factors, not all of them technical." But I think you’ll see us being proactive on multi-touch because the user feedback on multi-touch is very good."

The Motorola Milestone the company’s latest Android handset, does include multi-touch support offering pinch-to-zoom in the browser, unlike its US equivalent the Droid.
It’s been something of a hot topic for mobile manufacturers this week with Google’s Andy Rubin having explained why multi-touch was notably absent from the Nexus One in the US.
Motorola is experiencing something of a revival at the moment with Android a big factor in its latest success, and having managed to get our hands on the multi-touch supported Milestone, we anticipate more smartphone greats to follow in its impressive footsteps.
