I have been closely following this year’s Mobile World Congress and am greatly satisfied by the various releases and unveiling that took place. Opera Mini for iPhone was unveiled and so were details about the Windows Phone 7 series. Operating systems have also had their share of the spotlight; we all had a look at Symbian 3 and were simply awed.

Today I have the pleasure to blog to about another great occurrence that took place at the MWC 2010. As you all might have heard, Motorola’s upcoming cellphone, Devour, will be the first Verizon Wireless handset to support Motoblur. In case you are not familiar with it, Motoblur is Motorola’s wonderfully designed application to synchronize our data on our email accounts and our social media accounts.

Needless to say we bloggers have covered Devour from every angle. The speculations around it have been endless; the excitement somewhat came to a rest when Motorola recently announced the phone’s specifications. But even then, without having an actual look at Devour I, and I am sure everybody else, was still quite excited about how the design of the phone. Thankfully due to MWC 2010, we now know what the Devour looks like.

Devour will run on Android. It has a big 3.1-inch touch screen which will definitely be easy on the eyes. A slide-out full Qwerty keyboard will simplify typing text messages and emails. DEVOUR also features a GPS module and a microSD card slot expandable up to 32GB. An 8GB microSD card is pre-installed in the phone.

For a full list of specifications, go to Devour’s official specifications webpage here.
