Google Instant launched for desktop PCs recently, but is soon coming to mobile phones, hopefully by the end of the year.
The search feature predicts results before you type your query out completely, thereby offering a faster way to get search results.
Google’s VP, Jonathan Rosenberg, said that Google Instant would be available on the iPhone and Blackberry and other devices "sometime this fall".
As Google Instant allows search results to appear before users type everything out, we can see how it would be useful on mobile phones, when time and speed is everything. Data plans or wi-fi connectivity may be limited sometimes, so Google Instant on mobile phones would be handy indeed.
