I’m on Vista Home Prem (Student), x32, SP2.
I get this error when trying to access MS Update, immediately after a page
which says "Active X controls are needed …".
No solutions in other threads work, including disabling Update & deleting
temporary update files, renaming a file "rename.bat" and using the Fixit
programme.
How else can I get into Updates?
