So recently I had someone fix up my computer, put memory in it

When I got it back it was working perfectly
I went off to camp for five days, came back. I installed some updates
and played on the computer for how many hours. Then I shut it off an

When I woke up again, the little wireless switch is orange
And yes it is in fact turned on, but there is no wireless even though
am standing next to the router. Even in my ‘networks’ it just says Loca
Area Connection. No little icon for wireless. It’s like it’s completel
vanished.
By the way, I have wireless built in.
I have been going at this for a couple weeks now and there have been n
luck at all.
So, I am asking is if someone could possibly help me with my situation
